DIN Next Slab typeface is the latest addition to the extremely popular and widely used DIN Next family. This time its authors have designed a geometric Slab Serif typeface that derives its inspiration from a very interesting source – the German road signs system. With a concept like this the result is somehow predictable – a solid typeface with strong industrial appearance. Reliable as it is, DIN Next Slab will never let you down – it will serve you exceptionally well in any kind of typographic work – from long text to headlines.

Being part of a large family of 65 fonts DIN Next Slab is designed to interact with its other members, mainly with DIN Next. When combined, these two fonts work smoothly with each other greatly expanding the opportunities of creating memorable texts.

As usual with DIN Next family a large number of weights are provided – Ultra Light, Light, Regular, Medium, Bold, Heavy, Black, each with its respective Italics. Many OpenType features are included as well as remarkable language support.

DIN Next Slab typeface is released by Linotype foundry and is once again developed under the supervision of Akira Kobayashi who worked together with Sandra Winter and Tom Grace. It is easy to say that their team has once more achieved a remarkable result.
