Kalimba font by the Colombian graphic designer John Vargas Beltrán (see also his Cabriolet font, Conectiva font, etc.) has not accidentally been named after an African percussion musical instrument. Kalimba font’s visual identity is inspired by the traditional patterns of the African cultures.

With more than 500 glyphs in four stylistic variations (Kalimba Kingombo, Kalimba Nenyanga, Kalimba Masai, and Kalimba Regular) Kalimba font family offers great possibilities for designing logos, illustrations, games and other graphic design pieces that requires an African taste and essence.

Kalimba font includes OpenType features like ligatures, fractions and ordinals, and language support for all the European Latin character sets.
