Veneer font family by Ryan Martinson from Yellow Design Studio (see also their awesome Gist font, Thirsty Rough & Thirsty Script fonts, Verb Compressed & Verb Condensed fonts) consists of eight fonts (Veneer, Veneer Two, Veneer Three, Veneer Extras, each of them with a corresponding Italic). Very attractive with its hi-res hand-crafted, authentic, vintage and a bit grungy look.
Veneer font family is an award-winning comprehensive and highly customizable typeface with six distress options for every letter, and three for all other characters. It offers increasing degree of stress between the different fonts: from Veneer (the least pressed characters) to Veneer Three (most pressed characters). Mix and match as desired to create realistic letterpress designs. Veneer font’s masterly crafted details look tremendously well in both big and small letter sizes.
Great bonus to the Veneer font family are the Veneer Extras – a free set of 38 funky icons (plus their matching Italics).
TIP: In Photoshop Veneer looks best with anti-aliasing set to “smooth”. Because of Veneer’s high level of detail, it may process more slowly in some applications.
