Activist font by Gayaneh Bagdasaryan (Brownfox type foundry) is a functional display Sans Serif sharing the minimalist aesthetics of the early 20th century tech and automobile factory plates. Activist typeface distinguishes with its rigid stance and compressed rectangular shapes. This capitals-only font features one weight and is based on the Formular font family. Activist font offers a multilingual support for a wide variety of languages: European (Latin), Eastern Europe, Baltic, Cyrillic, etc. The typeface is commissioned by the Anticorruption Foundation.
Gayaneh Bagdasaryan is a graduate of Moscow State University of Printing Arts. She has designed Cyrillic localizations for most major type libraries, including Linotype, Bitstream, The Font Bureau, ITC, Berthold, Typotheque, Emigre, and ParaType. Gayaneh is the mastermind behind Serebro Nabora, a prominent annual international type conference held in Russia.
