Alfina font by Alberto Pedro Di Santo (Eurotypo type foundry) is a contemporary chancery script, inspired by the eponymous town of Torre Alfina, one of the most beautiful medieval villages of Italy, situated on the edge of the plateau Alfina, a few miles from of Orvieto. The place where is the castle is steeped in history with its roots dating back to the Lombard kingdom (seventh century).
Alfina font features back-slanted lettering with soft lines, dynamic strokes and elegant swashes. Alfina’s mild but vivid and expressive nature makes it perfect for unique display designs like luxury packaging, artistic branding, logotypes, etc. The stylistic alternates and ligatures are particularly important, and the typeface is enriched by many, different OpenType features.
