Callista font by Vassil Kateliev / Karandash Type & Graphic Foundry is a fat cursive typeface inspired by the work Francois Boltana and Milka Peykova in 1970s. Callista means “Most Beautiful” in Greek and it definitely deserves its name. Though it’s heavy look and strong presence, Callista hides a lot of elegance, grace and even music in its glyphs. It’s very useful for editorial design, typographic posters, t-shirts design, short headlines and surely for logos. Designed with wide set of multilingual diacritics, Callista supports even full Cyrillic alphabet becoming a “must-have-font” for Russian and Balkans market. It is also equipped with ligatures and alternates and by using opentype software, you will have many different options to customizing every letter.
