Clear Sans font
Clear Sans font is a hot new family by Positype. Originally designed back in 2008 Clear Sans is now dramatically improved and expanded into 40 separate fonts – regular and italic. Existing Aaux Next, Akagi Pro and Halogen are the typographic roots of Clear Sans and their influence is quite visible in this new font family. It’s great to see here really long list of open type features but what is probably most important about Clear Sans is its enhanced compatibility to web design, mobile applications and electronic books. Positype state that Clear Sans Text and Screen fonts were developed utilizing larger x-heights, space-saving widths, logical (and simplified) weight offerings. Be it print or electronic media Clear Sans is probably one of your best type partners around. It’s looking contemporary and elegant, designed with a lot of attention to details and own personality Clear Sans could be used for body text and headlines, posters and packages, books, book covers and stationary.
