Compasse font by Ryoichi Tsunekawa is a typeface family that consists of 12 outlines – six weights from Thin to Extra Bold and their Italic counterparts. This large variety of styles offers to its user wide range of opportunities for title, headline and body text which makes it perfect for use in all kinds of media and different other purposes, such as print adverts, logos, applications and e-books, gaming, merchandise etc.

Technically, Compasse is a semi-condensed sans serif font that is designed semi-modularly to avoid the artificial, often unnatural appearance of the module-designed typefaces. Large X-heights are employed in order to improve readability, making letterforms look sophisticated, yet neutral and modest. It comes with language support for almost all European languages as well as Afrikaans. Through OpenType features users can gain access to denominators, fraction, numerators, superior and inferior figures.

Compasse font is created by the Japanese designer Ryoichi Tsunekawa, founder of the independent Flat it Type Foundry which focuses on offering all kinds of fonts – retro, modern, experimental. His works include: All Round Gothic font, Spoon font, Dharma Gothic font, etc.
