HighJinkies font by John Roshell (Comicraft design studio) is a comic typeface family coming in four variations: Regular, Bold, Open, and Open Bold. They can be mixed without restraint to create a wide variety of memorable, vivid and jolly graphic designs.

John “JG” Roshell, is California based graphic designer, Comicraft’s “Mr. Fontastic”. He is responsible for the creation of the hundreds of typefaces that Comicraft currently use to letter many of America’s best-selling comics, including Spider-Man, Superman and the X-Men. He also designs logos, trade paperback/hardcover collections (including the Astro City collections, Daredevil: Visionaries, Danger Girl: The Ultimate Collection, and Spider-Man: Blue), and creates and maintains the Active Images Network of websites.

Comicraft was founded by Richard Starkings and John Roshell in 1992. From that time they are best known for pioneering the use of the computer in the art of comic book lettering. The Comicraft foundry’s fonts have been featured in millions of comic books and magazines throughout the world, and have been featured in high profile movies including TOY STORY 2 and SKY HIGH as well as many children’s books, toy products, dvd and game packaging which have sought out Comicraft fonts to create an authentic comic book look.
