Moho is the new typeface created by John Moore – the designer of the Duvall typeface – award winner at the Bienal Tipos Latinos 2014.

John Moore became a type designer in 1976 after he had studied in the Neumann Design Institute. Since then his work has been widely published, highly estimated and awarded. His main focuses are novelty, creativity, quality and originality.

Moho – his latest creation is a contemporary typeface family, inspired by the modernism of the early stages of the twentieth century thus bearing some of their most prominent characteristics – elegance and aesthetic appearance. At the same time it is quite practical – its square letter shapes make it highly readable. The overall appearance of Moho font makes it perfect for use in areas like sports, technology, tourism, transport, art and fashion.

Moho typeface family comes in two variants – OT (Full OpenType Features and full set of glyphs) and Std (Basic OpenType Features and less glyphs). Open Type features include small caps for letters and numbers, swash letters, ligatures for pairs and triplets of letters, ordinals, stylistic alternates and ordinals. Overall more than 600 glyphs are provided as well as language support for both West and East European languages. There is vast range of different weights too – from Regular to Thin. All this gives to the user great freedom and wide range of opportunities when working with their texts.
