Proba Pro font
Proba Pro font family is covering the visual space somewhere in between Futura and Gill. Great contemporary family combining pure geometry based on square with elegant humanistic terminals, fine connections and well manipulated contrast. Proba Pro hides a lot of potential if used for editorial design, though this is not the only field to get maximum of this font – you could also use it for corporate ID, annual reports, labels and packaging, posters, CD and DVD covers etc. Wider apertures, smooth curves and excellent dynamic from thin to thick result in enhanced legibility and make this font excellent for screen use as well – mobile apps, e-books, resident fonts, websites – Proba Pro will work perfectly in all these places. The complexity of this family is significantly improved by supporting Open Type features like ordinals, ligatures, fractions, alternates and a wide set of multilingual support including Cyrillic alphabet which is something rare at the present moment and is a serious reason to expand the market for this family with the countries from Russian federation and large part of the Balkans like Bulgaria, etc.
Our overall conclusion is that this is a contemporary font family, very flexible and comfortable for use both for print and screen graphics. The total of 14 fonts inside the family makes it a preferred choice in many streams of modern graphic design.
