Rowton Sans FY font
Rowton Sans FY font family by Julien Priez, Hugo Dumont, Jérémie Hornus and Alisa Nowak (Fontyou type foundry) is a graceful humanist Sans Serif typeface inspired by Arthur Gill’s book ‘An Essay on Typography’. Arthur Eric Rowton Gill is renowned British sculptor, type designer and graphic artist, creator of the Gill Sans typeface, Gill’s most prominent and keystone for the modern typography font. Just like its predecessor, Rowton Sans FY font family carries the early 20th century British design spirit, the Roman tradition in the uppercase, and the refined calligraphy strokes in the lower case. Rowton Sans FY typeface is ideal for books and magazines, but also quite effective at display sizes, especially with the lighter weights – perfect for titling, signage and logos.
Rowton Sans FY font family comes in six weights (from Hairline to Bold) plus their fine italics. The planned in the font family ExtraBold and Black weights are coming soon. Also provided are standard OpenType functions and multilingual support.
