Abula font created by the young Thai graphic designer Chatnarong Jingsuphatada and published by the Typesketchbook foundry is a Slab Serif typeface family coming in two distinctive styles: Abula Original and Abula Organic. Its construction is inspired by the modernistic type morphology and stylistics. Abula Organic style is further modified by incorporating humanist features in the lettering like mild curvy lines that soften the slabs, and ball terminals at the upper curve of the letters such as ‘a’, ‘c’, ‘r’ and ‘s’. The both branches of the Abula type family offer different feel and visual mood increasing its versatility and functionality.
Abula font family consists of 28 fonts (14 for each of the two styles: Abula Original and Abula Organic). Each style comes in 7 weights: form Hairline to Black, plus their corresponding italic versions. You can enjoy all this abundance available for your typography feasts.
