Al Fresco font by Laura Worthington is an excellent example of how one’s emotions and imagination could be transformed into a beautiful typography. Having more loose and unrestrained look than Hummingbird, Al Fresco is a joyful, breezy script font with a lot of sun, green grass and open air implemented in every move of the brush – very easy to read and very pleasant to use in your design. Unlike the complexity and versatility inside the Charcuterie font, Al Fresco is a reflection of Laura’s longing for simplicity.

Of course simplicity stops when we talk about open type features – it has a full array of ligatures, diacritics, alternate and emotional swashes giving more authentic look and preserving the natural randomness and uniqueness of the human hand. There is a hidden treasure we’re always used to find in Laura’s work – this time we have two sets of additional uppercase letters available as contextual alternates and showing shorter ending strokes improving your typography when needed.
