Alipe Script is the first script published by France based Belgian designer Thierry Gouttenègre. It’s an elegant connected hand-made script developed in three separate weights which offer you the rare opportunity to control your type contrast. Another great feature here is the enhanced legibility of Alipe Script – all three weights look very solid, consistent and easy-to-read. The Light weight is very tender, feminine and elegant, while the Bold one is very strong and prominent, The Medium is probably the best choice for average use. Alipe Script family is fully OpenType compatible and is also hiding a lot of extra features that reveal the natural beauty of calligraphy – swashes and swirls, swashed initials and ending letters, ligatures and multilingual support. Even without them Alipe Script is so attractive that it could be easily used for wedding invitations, poetry, perfumery & cosmetics, greeting cards, and food packaging.
