Basel Neue font
Basel Neue font by Isac Rodrigues (isaco type foundry) is a fine, highly legible Sans Serif with a humanist construction. It’s a thorough redesign of the isaco’s first typeface BaselSans ITD. Basel Neue font family is inspired by the 1950’s fundamental for the contemporary graphic design International Typographic Style developed in Switzerland. Basel Neue typeface obeys the International Style’s rules that the type should be correctly balanced between form and function, and that legibility and communicativity are the basic meaning of type.
Basel Neue font family comes in 4 weights (Regular, Medium, Bold, and Black) together with their matching italics. It offers a plenitude of OpenType features: standard ligatures and strategically designed discretionary ligatures; a set of emoticons and fun symbols that can be activated by discretionary ligatures; additional glyphs and useful features like the 12 recycling symbols, 7 to different types of plastic, and over 30 currency symbols; Fractions, Old Style, Lining, Tabular numbers, etc. All the fonts in the Basel Neue have extended character for multilingual support: Central European, Baltic, Turkish, and Western European languages.
