Bolyar font is named after the highest rank members of feudal Bulgaria – second only to the ruling Tsar (king). This font justifies its name with its royal, majestic and elegant appearance. Bolyar font is developed in a wide set of alternates, swashes, ligatures and ornaments thus facing every design requirements – from simple body type – to a strong dominating headline or even logo.
Bolyar font would be very useful to a large part of package and label designers as it is an excellent choice for everyone designing a letterhead or a newspaper headline.
This font was the basis for the later designed Bolyar Pro and Bolyar Ornate typefaces.
