Kandel 105 font
Kandel 105 font – the latest work by Adrian Talbot (author of the Kaleko 105 Round font and Kaleko 205 Round font) is a geometric, tri-line, display and headline font family available in three weights (Light, Medium and Bold). The Kandel 105 font together with its relative in the font family Kandel 205 are inspired by the 1968 Mexico Olympics identity, designed by Lance Wyman. It’s interesting that graphic design was given a very important role in 1968 Mexico. As Wyman says, “Graphic design became an important visual ambassador for the 1968 Mexico Olympic Games. The logotype, based on traditional forms from the Mexican culture as well as being Sixties Op-art kinetic typography, set the tone for the entire graphics system.”
With Kandel 105 font, Adrian Talbot has done a great job in perfecting the letters geometry and creating a contemporary, versatile, and practical typeface. The quality of the lowercase letters should not go unnoticed.
Kandel 105 font is a great choice for outstanding and dynamic designs, as well as for sports oriented projects.
