Munky Negra font is one of those typefaces that make you smile every time you see it. Fat and Funny, it is one of the friendliest typefaces we have ever seen – maybe because of the colorful presentation the author did. Speaking of him, Rodrigo Araya Salas is probably one of the most consistent young type designers. His specialty is decorative typefaces and he’s one of those authors that always keep special place inside every character set for Cyrillic alphabet. Note that Cyrillic letters are more specific and when it comes for decorative styles it is even more specific and difficult to create them.
Munky Negra is a display face with fat round letters sometimes ending with creamy tips – perfect for toy and food packaging as well as kid’s clothing like t-shirts, jackets, hats, etc. This typeface is so friendly that it will instantly reflect on your mood – use it with saturated playful colors, try it with large outlines and shadow effects and don’t forget to use the special Munky Negra Ornaments. If you still need more, try the Munky Negra Rough. Think of sun, joy and color and you will certainly get a lot of extra inspiration that will change your design. Enjoy!
