Scripta Pro is a contemporary font family that draws its inspiration from the 40s and 50s and especially from the advertising scripts of that time. It is also dedicated to the works of the famous American type designer L.H. Copeland, the author of the well known book “Design of the Roman letters”. The script accurately conveys one of the main characteristics of this period – the boom of the artistic fantasies caused by the high expectations based on the rapid development of the science and technology.

Scripta Pro has a very distinctive appearance with its thin lines, lush ornaments and curly doodles and ribbons. The delicate handwritten lettering gives the font a feminine look that makes it perfect for applications such as invitations, different kinds of inscriptions, logos, headlines, subheads, posters, fashion related items and in anything in which a bit of romance has to be added.

Scripta Pro font family comes in two weights – Pro and Book Pro with a few mouthwatering extra fonts – Scripta Gothic – an art deco style typeface with its typical geometric forms, Scripta Catchwords for those who wish to apply words created and Scripta Icons – a font with ornaments typical for the Post war era.

Scripta Pro font family is designed by the hugely experienced John Moore and released by his own type foundry. John is one of the most famous type designers in Venezuela and has a very solid background in that field with his work well appreciated and often published in numerous magazines throughout Asia and the Americas.
