Download Aelita font

Aelita is attractive and fresh contemporary serif family released by ParaType. This hot new addition to their remarkable portfolio reveals their attention to hidden details. Designed as 3 weight type family Aelita has a main character set that is looking more formal, sharp and serious. If you take a look at your OpenType panel you will discover an alternative set where every curve is smoother and softer and the overall look of letterforms is somehow significantly influenced by calligraphy. Having two similar in their skeleton but different in their character sets of letters practically almost means that you have 2 type styles spread in 3 weights – pay less get more. Special attention is payed to Italics – like in almost every serif family they bring more life, emotions and color in your design. Without being too playful and not too serious, Aelita’s Italics stand fresh and elegant and very legible at the same time. Speaking of legibility Aelita family has lightly condensed look where the increased x-height makes the lowercase letters very easy-to-read which is a serious reason to use the family not only for print designs but for web-sites, e-books, applications, etc. Good to find extended multilingual support including a very useful Cyrillic alphabet – something that is still rare to find in worthy families.
