Corporative is a modern geometric semi serif font family provided by Latinotype. If we are to describe it in two words, these would definitely be diversity and versatility. This incredibly rich font family comes in the astonishing 64 fonts! There are two main families Corportaive and Corporative Condensed – each developed in 8 weights – from Hair thru Medium to Black, featuring classic character style and each of them coming with corresponding true Italics. Additionally Latinotype have decided to develop this whole configuration with alternative characters dominated by more prominent calligraphic feeling and humanist look than the traditional set. In the alternates you will find smooth and elegant shapes, less geometrical forms and more elements from natural hand writing – all these even more visible in the Alternate Italics. Also, there is something more as this typeface covers none less than 128 languages. Quite a choice, isn’t it?!
Overall, Corporate’s features and appearance make it more suitable for use in larger sizes. This typeface is your optimal choice for projects like creation of logos, branding and corporate identity, trademarks, industrial design, etc. However, it can still work great in smaller text sizes also due to its condensed nature and high legibility.
There is one more reason why Corporative font family is so special. Perhaps the people in Latinotype believe that 10 eyes see better than two. So they present us with their first font that is not designed by one but by 5 designers or Latinotype team. More precisely, Corporative is created by Javier Quintana (author of Berenjena and Modernica typefaces) and Cesar Araya with Latinotype founders Luciano Vergara, Miguel Hernandez and Daniel Hernandez being supervisors of their work. Judging by the result, we can say that this formula has worked great!
