Haboro Slab by insigne – the simple look of luxury
Haboro Slab is the latest offer by the US designer Jeremy Dooley and his one-man insigne type foundry. It is his second Haboro work after the original – a powerful neoclassical workhorse. Haboro Slab complements its predecessor perfectly and the two fonts could combine greatly. However, even if used on its own the typeface will bring great results. It has a workhorse nature too – plain and clear look achieved through its simplified geometric features and a great legibility. Still, Haboro Slab has something unique of its own, something very personal – a truly luxurious grit thanks mostly to the font’s advanced angle and the wedge-molded serifs. This makes it a powerful tool for successful projects in great variety of different areas like newspapers, magazines, posters, packaging, web applications, web sites, advertising and many more.
In terms of choice provided, Haboro Slab has a lot to offer. The family includes three styles – Normal, Condensed and Extended. Each of them consists of seven weights – Light, Book, Regular, Medium, Demi, Bold and Ex Bold, each with its respective Italics. On top of that, the typeface has a wide range of alternates and ligatures and plenty of OpenType features like Small Capitals, Oldstyle Figures, Titling Capitals, etc.
