Tea Biscuit is a modern font family that makes immediate impression with its fresh and classy look. Judging from its pronounced retro appearance, it is clear that the inspiration behind it comes from the past, more precisely – the hand lettering of the 1950’s. However, Tea Biscuit typeface is perfectly adapted to the higher standards of the present days and the always growing demands of the modern users. The extremely elegant appearance and the high legibility of this high-class upright script make it perfect for many different applications, especially when catching people’s attention and evoking warm feelings are the main goal.
Tea Biscuit font family provides four different weights – Regular, Medium, Bold and Extra Bold with each of them containing the stunning 1200 glyphs. Those of the users with OpenType savvy software will enjoy plenty of very juicy extras which include stylistic, swash and titling alternates, ligatures, etc. Also included are a set of matching ornaments and small caps – a very interesting set of block letters that can be used either separately or in order to complement and support the Script font.
Tea Biscuit typeface is a project of the well known Emil Karl Bertell. It is the first time we enjoy a joint work of him and Teo Tuominen (take a look at his debut font Winnie the Hoop which can be downloaded for free).
