Tropen font family
Tropen font family is a next step in creating useful type collections by the Turkey based type designer Ahmet Altun after the remarkable success of his Harman family released in 2014. This brand new one of 6 different type styles including a separate font for special extras like ornaments, icons, decorations and other elements that have significant role in creating the overall style and identity of the family. The other 6 styles are fully dedicated to use for texts in small and large sizes featuring a sans, a serif and uppercase in same style, one script style with corresponding Italic and a Deco version of a condensed round serif. As you see the whole Tropen collection has enough diversity and complexity which makes it quite useful for many different designs. The great benefit here is that Tropen creates a visual space where you could pick from different fonts of the family and use them solely or in combination with the other members of the collection. In fact getting the whole Tropen bundle gives you quite enough options to stay inside the family and create unique design with authentic vintage look.
All fonts inside Tropen have enhanced legibility and good contrast – even the scripts – which is an excellent reason to use the family not only for print images but for screen too. Use Tropen to create amazing web-sites and banners. You could try it even for e-books or in apps – its performance on screen is perfect and will provide maximum quality even on older low-resolution screens.
If you are in print design, then Tropen will become your best friend if you create artistic brands, catchy signboards, typographic posters, vintage wine labels and food packaging.
In short – Tropen is a smart creation – useful, beautiful and functional.
