Andes Rounded font is a family with history from the near past. Originally based on existing Merced font, it has been developed in 3 separate families – Andes, Andes Condensed and Andes Italics. Now it’s time to get focused on the newly released Rounded version of Andes font.
This sans-serif family features very elegant end soft geometry providing enough legibility due to its Grotesk skeleton and a lot of charm and individuality coming from its humanistic terminals combined with rounded smooth corners. Andes Rounded font is designed in 10 weights of uprights only giving you enough options to play with the contrast of your typography. It is very useful for long text paragraphs and especially if they are in small size you will get the maximum of its potential. It is also excellent for strong and prominent headlines and subheads and it actually covers all demands in editorial design. As you will notice there are no italics at the moment, we believe this is a sign that in near future the top professionals of Latinotype will release a separate family dedicated to rounded italics.
