Bligh is a modern grotesque sans serif that clearly has its roots in the 19th century – the period when the grotesques appeared and thrived. A time of great explorations, enormous inventions, rapid progress and most importantly, great expectations, 19-th century produced its own unique type samples that reflected its industrial essence with the grotesque sans serifs being among the best samples. When getting Bligh, you will probably expect the typical features of that category that account for the usual fairly uniform appearance. However, by simply looking upon Bligh you will immediately spot the difference. This typeface is designed to be unique! It maintains the expected high legibility but with its peculiar skeleton, curvy terminals and overall softer characters is much friendlier and warmer.
