Halogen Slab – this is the latest evolutionary addition to the growing family of Halogen fonts. Just like its brother Halogen Flare this hot new one uses the same skeleton of existing Halogen typeface. This time instead of flared stems we see some nice and steady Slab Serifs – we’d say this is non-traditional approach but the result itself is really amazing. The new font looks even wider than the original Sans, powered with more energy, strength and character. The serifs emphasize the feeling for horizontal axis and thus the font looks more tight, compact and solid. The true beauty of this serifed version is probably most noticeable in middle weights though the light weights look very elegant and even gentle while the high contrast outlines are dominating over the rest of the family.
All in all just like in the other Halogen fonts we see here even more diversity, attention to detail and unique design.
