Trend Rough font family by Latinotype is a marvelous vintage typeface inheriting the character and originality of its bestselling predecessors – the Trend and Trend Hand Made fonts. As in their previous projects Paula Nazal Selaive and Daniel Hernández use five variants of Trend Sans & Serif plus their true italics and Ornaments. However, this time they have decided to surprise us with the new wonderful Ornaments Two, Words and Dingbats thus enhancing Trend Rough to the staggering 24 fonts.

The charming retro look of Trend Rough is a result of thorough study and research of the modern fashion tendencies. Its authors tried, and we could say succeeded, to capture the very essence of the fashion itself and embody it in their creation. As a result they offer us a font family that doesn’t need any additions and complements and is perfect for large visible overprints, heavy ink transfer, letterpress print and deep embossing.

As it was mentioned, Trend Rough is designed by the young and very ambitious Chilean graphic designers Paula Nazal Selaive and Daniel Hernández. Despite their young age they have very serious background – Paula studied design at Universidad Mayor in Santiago de Chile, Universidad de Palermo, Buenos Aires and Universidad de Buenos Aires and as for Daniel – it is enough to say that he is, together with Miguel Hernández & Luciano Vergara, a co-founder of Latinotype foundry.
