Urban Grotesk font
Urban Grotesk font by the Czech type designer Tomáš Brousil (Suitcase Type Foundry) is a San Serif typeface family designed in the best traditions of the Grotesk fonts: rounded arches, slightly thinner connecting strokes and a vertical shadowing axis, where outstrokes are terminated strictly in perpendicular to the stroke direction.
All the twelve fonts (six weights, from Light to Black, plus their italics) work quite well for display purposes, and feature excellent legibility in small text sizes. Adding the strong visual presence, the diversity of OpenType functions (Small Caps, Localized Forms, Discretionary and Standard Ligatures, and many others), and the multi-language support, turns Urban Grotesk font family into versatile, contemporary urban medium for impressive results in the area of logo and corporate identity graphic design.
