Plathorn font by Jeremy Dooley (insigne type foundry) is a comprehensive type family inspired by the great old & wild American West outdoors. It’s classic but free spirited, it’s contemporary but noble, it’s Serif but with subtle flared serifs, it’s everything but the boring. The Plathorn font family consists of the whole 42 fonts grouped in three sub-families: Plathorn, Plathorn Condensed and Plathorn Extended, each in 7 weights (from Light to Black) plus their matching italics.

Plathorn is a display typeface family perfect for magazines, branding, packaging, and yet legible in small sizes. It offers multilingual support for 72 language as well as OpenType features such as stylistic alternates, rounded forms, swash alternates, upright italics, titling alternates, oldstyle figures, and many others. Just take a ride beyond the borders and don’t look back.
